Breakthrough innovations from WEBER RESCUE Systems
"Always think one step ahead" is our motto. That's why we are always working on breakthrough technology for the future. We shall present the many results of our work at the INTERSCHUTZ in Hanover again. It is important to us that the new products are actually useful in practice, which is why we extensively test every new product in practical application in advance.
This year, the emphasis is on the four topics of lightweight construction, battery technology, cutting performance and a world premiere. There will also be some new products in the standard equipment range. We are revealing just a few here; the rest you can discover during your "recce" on the trade fair stand.
Lightweight construction is becoming increasingly important in the design of hydraulic rescue equipment. With our BS spreader – the lightest in the world, we have already demonstrated that a lightweight and, above all, compact design is also possible. We are systematically pursuing this concept and extending it to other products as well.
Vehicles are being built with ever stronger materials in order to protect the passengers. Hydraulic cutting equipment especially will face ever greater challenges in the future. We responded to this with our PLUS cutting blades at the last INTERSCHUTZ. This year we are going one step further!
The development of mobile equipment that can be operated autonomously by an intelligent battery drive is continuing apace. Also the development of our E-FORCE series is continuing and will again cause a sensation. Combined with compact and slim construction, high performance is an extremely important consideration, but there's more to it than that.
New TEAMgold member + world premiere
Our TEAMgold is also being strengthened this year. As with the RSX 200 with PLUS cutting blades and the SP 53 BS with new tip design, the equipment will set new standards. There will also be a world premiere at the INTERSCHUTZ. There is no rescue equipment like it anywhere.
WEBER RESCUE Systems at the INTERSCHUTZ 2015
Not only does this year's INTERSCHUTZ take place under the motto "Incident site of the future", we have also adopted this slogan and will present our trendsetting new products to meet the challenges of the future as well. On a booth area of more than 450 m² in Hall 26, not only are we presenting the ideal equipment for the incident site, but also how closely we interact with you as usual. Of course – as during a real mission, all the things that await you can only be determined in full at the incident site, but the initial situation report is already here.
Besides the new products, the subject of training is back on the agenda. Not only are we presenting the current training offers out of doors and bringing things closer to home through presentations, some of our instructors will be there on the stand every day ready to answer any questions. From 7 pm on the Tuesday, we will also go down completely new paths and hold the first online seminar on the subject of "Between exercise and reality - What are the rescue techniques that really work in practice?" live from the INTERSCHUTZ.
Incident site: WEBER-CITY
On our 450 m² WEBER CITY, better known as the s'Städle, you are right in the middle of our incident site of the future. Built like a small city with streets, buildings, a city park and the obligatory shops, all areas are clearly structured and easy to find (there is a clearly marked city map along all accesses to the stand in case of emergency). Our stand has the stand number G04 in Hall 26.
The city park takes up most of WEBER CITY! Here we will present our innovative new products from the sectors of lightweight construction, battery technology and cutting performance, and provide an insight into the future. We will reveal a little bit more about our new products under the title "Innovations and new products".
Right in the centre of WEBER CITY, a serious traffic accident has occurred with two modern vehicles posing some challenges for the emergency services. Of course, our "Stand fire service" has an optimum solution ready. They will also be happy to answer any other questions and discuss the problems involved in accident rescue and show you the rescue systems of the future.
What should there be in every real city? Possibilities for shopping, of course! And, precisely for this reason, our popular fan shop will be back again where there are many useful little aids for everyday use to be found. Here, too, you can look forward to some new gadgets and also the youngest visitors are not forgotten!
There is also a lot on offer in the outdoor area.
In the outdoor area, you will find us on the "Dräger Academy" stand (stand number: C12). Our instructor team will present our joint project for Real Fire Training (RHINO) and the lorry accident seminars (TRT 7000). Live presentations will take place each day at both training facilities. We will announce the exact times well in advance. Our instructors will be available to answer any questions throughout the day.
Real Fire Training
An entirely innovative concept in Germany, this real fire training was developed in collaboration with Dräger and the Swedish Rescue Training Centre and will be presented for the first time at the INTERSCHUTZ. WEBER RESCUE will bring along its international instructor team that will provide training courses in this simulator.
Further information on the "Rhino Project" can be found live at the trade fair in Hannover.
We have already been on the road throughout Germany for some time with the TRT 7000, the Truck Rescue Trainer, and train emergency services on the subject of truck accident rescue. But this simulator can also do significantly more; training can be given in all aspects of hazardous goods on the back.
Here, too, there will also be daily presentations showing many tips and tricks for truck rescue.
Training, but properly!
Good training is not simply accidental! Thus, we have increased our stand personnel so we have plenty of time for your questions. Some of our instructors will also be on the stand (and in the outdoor area during presentations) and available to answer your questions. We are also going down completely new paths in the training sector, and will present the first WEBER RESCUE online seminar on 9th June.
WEBINAR - "Between reality and exercise - What are the rescue techniques that really work in practice?"
During the INTERSCHUTZ, more precisely on 9th June, starting at 7 pm, we will present the first WEBER RESCUE WEBINAR entitled "Between exercise and reality" in german language. We want to give even more emergency services the opportunity of profiting from the expertise of our instructors. You can sit comfortably at home at the PC while Tim Heyne shows which rescue techniques actually work in practice by means of tests (together with DEKRA) on realistically deformed vehicles.
As a bonus there is also an exclusive guided video tour of our INTERSCHUTZ booth. So you can see all our new products before anyone else! More information and registration for the limited places can be found here:
WEBINA Rregistration - Secure your place now.
Our instructors give advice - Just ask.
Some of our instructors will be present at the trade fair and will answer all your questions on accident rescue. You can meet them in our WEBER CITY and in the outdoor area during the presentations on the Dräger booth. Just ask!
If you not have the chance to come to Hanover, but still want to ask your questions, you can register for the WEBINAR. All questions will also be answered by our team in the chat there.
Wall of WEBER - Your picture on our booth.
Are you a fan of WEBER RESCUE, do you have one of our rescue sets, or simply want to see your picture on our trade fair stand? Our "Wall of WEBER" is exactly right for you. The WEBER family (and this definitely includes all of you too) is constantly growing and that's why there's a suitable picture gallery of our family members at the INTERSCHUTZ. If you want to have your picture on the Wall of WEBER, send it to us before 7th May by uploading to the following site:Picture upload for the Wall of WEBER

1. SKF Bearing
SKF bearing units typically consist of a bearing, seal, lubricant and shaft locking mechanism. The units are preassembled and adjusted at the factory. These ready to mount units are available with either ball or roller bearings.
In addition to standard all steel units, SKF has more focused standard products – which target a particular industry – like the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries where, for example, special materials, lubricants, seals and housings are needed.
To accommodate the high performance characteristics of SKF bearings, SKF designs and manufactures a full line of bearing housings and housing seals. These housings and seals are well known for their quality and durability. In addition to their unique design features, which simplify mounting, alignment and relubrication, SKF housings are precision machined so that the incorporated bearing can realize its full service life.
2. Lubrication solutions
Did you know that poor lubrication causes about 36% of all premature bearing failures? But with the right lubrication solution you can create new opportunities to increase uptime and productivity. Along with helping to reduce premature bearing failures and machine downtime, proper lubrication can increase energy efficiency. At SKF, we can help you realize the true potential of lubrication.
SKF lubrication solutions range from specialized lubricants to state-of-the-art lubrication systems. Integrated SKF lubrication solutions combine our expertise in bearings, seals and condition monitoring with our tribology knowledge – the study of friction, wear and lubrication.
You can also count on leading technical support and services. This includes lubrication management programmes to help with lubricant selection, planning and monitoring – all from a single, reliable partner.
3. SKF Seals
Sealing solutions customized for your system performance
Seals have a crucial impact on system performance. Life and reliability of what is often considered a simple component can make all the difference to your products and operations. SKF has more than 100 years of experience in various industries and applications, and is the only company that can support key aspects of the sealing system through its knowledge of bearings, seals, lubrication and associated science and technology. SKF offers expert advice and provides support throughout the life cycle of your sealing system. 3. SKF Ball and roller screws
Ball and roller screws
Thanks to decades of experience with manufacturing ball and roller screws and their continuous product and process development activities, SKF provides customers with precision screw solutions that fulfil the most demanding applications in terms of efficiency, precision, durability and value. SKF provides solutions for applications that require driving technology. Ball screws and roller screws convert rotary motion into linear motion, and vice-versa.
A traditional screw essentially consists of a steel shaft with trapezoidal thread and a bronze, metal or plastic nut. With this design, approximately 70% of the power is dissipated through the heat generated by friction at the sliding contact surfaces.
Unlike traditional screws, high efficiency screws from SKF are fitted with rolling elements (balls or rollers) that transmit the power between the nut and the screw shaft. The rolling motion minimizes friction between the nut and the shaft, therefore:
- the torque and power of the motor required to drive an application are much lower; depending on the design and technology, ball and roller screw efficiency is greater than 80%
- the wear rate is minimized
- the life of our products is much longer than the life of traditional sliding screws, and can be determined using rolling fatigue calculation
Due to the high efficiency of this technology, ball and roller screws are back-driving. Thus, some applications require a brake to prevent the carriage from falling down under its own weight.
Our comprehensive range of driving solutions includes precision rolled ball screws, ground ball screws and roller screws. Matching accessories for ball and roller screws such as nut flanges and support bearings are available.
